We stand behind the quality of our work. Quick Fix services include a 30-day workmanship warranty, while Full Service visits include a 60-day workmanship warranty. If the original issue returns during the warranty period, we'll review the problem and provide appropriate follow-up service. Warranty applies only to the original issue addressed and does not cover new issues, hardware failures, malware reinfections, data loss, or third-party modifications.

Lakeshore Technology ("we," "us," "our") provides IT support services including on-site visits, drop-off repair, and remote support to individuals and small businesses in Chicago and surrounding communities. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
We provide services to Chicago and surrounding communities within approximately a 20-mile radius of our location. Service requests outside this radius may be declined or subject to an additional travel arrangement, discussed prior to booking.
All on-site, remote, and drop-off appointments are scheduled in advance and confirmed within 24–48 hours. Drop-off service is accepted Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Listed prices reflect labor only. Any required parts, hardware, or software licenses are billed separately at cost and will be communicated and approved before purchase. Final pricing for diagnostic or open-ended repairs may vary based on the complexity of the issue discovered, and will always be communicated before work proceeds.
Workmanship warranties apply to the specific issue(s) addressed and do not cover unrelated hardware failures, new issues, user-caused damage, or pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of service.
Customers are responsible for backing up important data prior to any service. While we take reasonable care with all devices, Lakeshore Technology is not responsible for data loss, pre-existing damage, or issues arising from third-party hardware or software not directly related to the service performed.
Devices left for drop-off should be picked up promptly once notified of completion. Devices not collected within a reasonable timeframe may be subject to a storage discussion. A diagnostic fee may apply and will be credited toward the cost of repair if the recommended service is approved.
Remote sessions are performed using secure screen-sharing software. The customer is present and in control at all times and may end the session at any time. Lakeshore Technology will not access, copy, or retain personal files beyond what is necessary to resolve the reported issue.
We ask that appointments be canceled or rescheduled with as much notice as possible to allow other customers to be served.
Lakeshore Technology provides services on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to lost data, lost business, or lost time, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
